Kenya's real estate market is at an inflection point. Rapid urbanization, a rising middle class, and increasing diaspora investment have created unprecedented demand for developments that combine world-class design with deep local understanding.
"We're not importing a model — we're building one. Every project begins with the land, the community, and the question: what does this place need to become?"

Lekadora Group was founded by Ajwang and Leah Rading — a team that bridges American institutional expertise with deep Kenyan roots, bringing global standards to local development.
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Ajwang Rading is an entrepreneur, attorney, and policy expert building at the intersection of technology, capital, and real assets. He serves as the Lead AI Attorney at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, where he advises AI developers, venture and growth-equity funds, and emerging technology companies on corporate structuring, algorithmic accountability, multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance, and cross-border data-rights frameworks. He also designs governance programs for clients navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of AI regulation and digital-asset transactions.
Ajwang serves as a Lecturer in Law at Santa Clara Law School and a Lecturer in Public Policy and Technology at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs. Previously, he practiced corporate law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, advising technology companies, startups, and venture capital firms as outside General Counsel. He also served as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Cory Booker and U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, shaping policy on technology, economic development, and civil rights.
Ajwang is the Managing Partner of AMR Ventures, a fund investing in small and medium businesses across the United States. A UCLA double alumnus, he holds both his undergraduate and law degrees from the university. With roots in Kenya and a career spanning Silicon Valley law, Washington D.C. policy, and venture investing, Ajwang brings a rare cross-border perspective to Lekadora Group — one that combines institutional discipline with on-the-ground understanding of the East African opportunity.
Co-Founder & Partner
Leah Rading is a real estate operations executive who leads Lekadora Group's U.S. operations and oversees the full lifecycle of the firm's domestic portfolio — from acquisition sourcing and due diligence through asset management, leasing strategy, and disposition. Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, with deep connections spanning from Kisumu to Mombasa, Leah brings both operational rigor and an intimate understanding of Kenya's diverse markets to every deal the firm touches.
With a background spanning real estate investment analysis, marketing strategy, and portfolio operations across institutional capital platforms, Leah has evaluated hundreds of acquisition opportunities and managed assets across residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Her expertise in cross-border capital flows and emerging-market deal structuring gives her unique insight into building a real estate platform that operates seamlessly between the U.S. and Kenya.
At Lekadora Group, Leah drives the firm's acquisition pipeline, oversees property operations and asset performance, and manages strategic partnerships with brokers, contractors, and institutional co-investors. Her roots across Kenya's major economic corridors — from the lakeside commerce of Kisumu to the coastal trade hub of Mombasa — inform the firm's strategy for identifying high-growth opportunities across the country.
Three principles guide every project we undertake.
Every market has its own logic. We invest heavily in understanding local land dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and community needs before a single plan is drawn. Our Kenyan roots are not just heritage — they're a strategic advantage.
We bring the design quality, financial structuring, and project management discipline of the world's best development firms to every project. Our cross-border experience means we build to standards that attract both local and international capital.
We develop for decades, not quarters. Every project is designed to appreciate in value, serve its community, and stand as a testament to what thoughtful development can achieve in Kenya's growing economy.
Whether you're an investor, partner, or landowner, we'd like to hear from you.
